It's naturally sweetened and provides fruits and veggies to nourish and strengthen your body. It's a yummy way to encourage your family to eat healthier foods and provides natural energy to start the day!

LORI'S GREEN SMOOTHIE RECIPE
1 Banana
2 cups frozen fruit (mixed fruit blend or berries)
2-4 cups fresh greens (spinach, kale, chard, etc.)
1 pitted date
2-3 cups coconut water or filtered water
Optional Add-Ins:
1-2 tsp superfoods (plant protein powder, spirulina, wheat grass juice powder, barley grass juice powder)
1-2 tsp chia seeds
1 TBS flaxseed
1 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 cup fresh sprouts
Standard blender: Blend the greens and liquid first, then add remaining ingredients and finish blending.
High powered blender (Vitamix): Blend all ingredients together on Smoothie setting. Use tamper wand to push down frozen fruit.
Enjoy!
Salads are great, but you can still get the benefits of leafy greens by adding them to a smoothie for a nutrient dense beverage!
